Villa Akvileja was built 1878 by shipbuilder Karl August Teodor Johansson and has since then remained in the family. Over the years the house has been expanded and renovated, but yet has kept its original charm.
The villa has a breathtaking view of the southern channel and inlet towards Vaxholm. In the rocky garden you can find lavender, roses peony and of course akvileja (grandma's nightcap).
The Upper Tower Room. Here you will have the best view in the house! The room has a comfortable double bed and a nice seating arrangement. This room also has a spacious balcony with unbeatable views. Private bathroom with a toilet and bathroom with shower. Price: 6000:-/week
The Lower Tower Room. Here you will find great ocean views as well. The room is furnished with a comfortable double bed and a nice seating area. Private bathroom with toilet and shower. To the room belongs a large and sunny terrace, wich you reach from the outside of the house. Price: 5000:-/week
The guests in both rooms share the kitchen, wich is fully equiped and where you also find the washing machine.
Bed linen, towels and final cleaning are not included in the price, but can be orded with extra payment.
The cottage is rented out weekly as an independent selfmade-catering household. It consists of one room, kitschen and a bathroom. There is a partitioned sleeping space with a double bed, a sofa with a TV and a dining area. The small kitchen contains everything you may need for one week's self-catering. In the bathroom you have a washingmashine. The cottage has a private terrace wich is the perfect spot for a barbecue and outdoor dining.
